Hello, my name is Dr. Melissa Moncrieffe, and I'm the Founder and Director of Valued Educational Services (VES), a global education company for youth. 

Since I could remember, I’ve always loved learning about the world through history, culture, and the arts. And my passion for travel began before I physically traveled. Whether through watching documentaries, visiting local museums and exhibits, or reading, these were forms of learning, as well as my upbringing, that personally taught me about our beautiful world and its people. 

My first trip abroad was when I was 9 to visit relatives in Canada. And to date, I have traveled and/or lived in over 35 countries across all continents. This included study abroad programs during my teens to countries like Italy, Egypt, France, and England. Each experience gave me a great opportunity to grow and connect with people. I have made lifelong friends along the way and equally built connections that supported my higher education and business goals.  

These important experiences are reasons why I created VES’s global education immersion programs in Scotland. Through our 2-weeks immersion program during the summer, youth will travel around Scotland to learn about the country’s amazing history, its cultural and educational impact on the world, and experience the beautiful and vibrant nature Scotland has to offer. Through participation in creative and educational personal and group activities, youth will learn more about themselves and form new bonds that will last a lifetime.
